Winemaker Notes
Orange in NSW is an exciting cool climate region producing elegant, fine Riesling.  Perfect ripening conditions combined with meticulous vineyard management produced exceptional fruit at optimum ripeness and flavour maturity.   Attractively aromatic with a delicate mix of lemon, lime and orange blossom flavours complemented on the palate with mineral acidity and a fine, long finish.  Drinking beautifully now this wine will develop complex toasty, honey characters over the next 5 to 8 years.  

Winemaking Process
The single block of Riesling on the Mayfield Vineyard was handpicked and gently whole bunch pressed to obtain only the best free run juice. This juice was given a slow, cool ferment in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wine was stabilised, filtered and bottled immediately to retain freshness. 

Gourmet Notes
Drink chilled on its own or with seafood. Try Hervey Bay scallops served with rice noodles drizzled with lime juice, olive oil and garnished with fresh coriander.
