Winemaker Notes
This Arrowfield Estate Chardonnay is a blend of old vine fruit off the Arrowfield vineyard in the Hunter Valley and cool climate fruit from Orange.  Meticulous “hands-on” vineyard management, combined with the unique vineyard terrior and low cropping vines has produced a unique Chardonnay.  This is a fruit driven unwooded style with melon, ripe stonefruit and citrus flavours combining with savoury “Hunter” characters.  The palate has exceptional fruit intensity supported by a long clean finish.  Drinking beautifully now this Chardonnay will continue to develop complex bottle aged characters over the next 3-5 years.

Winemaking Process
The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness and fruit intensity.  The juice was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks.

Gourmet Notes
Serve with tarragon roasted chicken with roasted vegetables and sautéed cabbage.  Make a sauce by deglazing the pan juices with the chardonnay.
